I used to think journaling was: useless, time consuming, etc- I was wrong & found a way that worked for me! & maybe it can work for you

for the last 2 years my “everyday” journaling has consisted of the same few things:

1. gratitude

three things you’re grateful for, can be simple or deep

2. affirmations/self love

feels weird at first but accredit writing three things I love about myself and/or positive affirmations to improving my self confidence & mental health the most*

3. intentions

can be three simple to dos that are important or something deeper

4. memories (from the day before)

improves mood & is good for exercising the brain- your brain needs to exercise too
